Sinezona laevigata is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Scissurellidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand.

This scissurellid is found at depths of from shallow water to 240 m.

[edit] Shell description

The shell is minute, thin, cream or white, ovate, with rapidly increasing rounded whorls, delicate radial and spiral sculpture, narrow or callus-filled umbilicus, and an ovate foramen, at the end of a very short and shallow selenizone. Sculpture consists of numerous spiral threads, conspicuous only on the base, and delicate, curved, radial threads, confined to the vicinity of the suture.

The shell height is up to 0.8 mm, and width up to 1 mm.
