SinCOM Switzerland

SinCOM LLC is a Swiss Internet provider founded by Kalle and Vili Sintonen in 2002. SinCOM is present nationwide, delivering all services and products for fixed and IP-based voice and data communications.

The company was the Swiss leader of satellite internet solutions for the private users, now the Internet access is included in the universal telecoms service. SinCOM is a distributor of the Meraki Wi-Fi mesh solution.

  • 2002 Foundation of SinCOM Sintonen and launching of My-Wlan, one of the first large mesh wlan networks in the world. With this network the users can access to the Internet up to 3 mb/s. My-Wlan was discontinued in 2004.
  • 2004 SinCOM launch skyDSL in Switzerland a satellite Internet access solution for all Swiss that can't have access to Internet via adsl connexions. skyDSL was discontinued in 2007.
  • 2006 SinCOM Sintonen is now SinCOM LLC and is privately held and not publicly traded.
  • 2008 SinCOM is distributor of Meraki. The Meraki solution creates an easy to deploy wireless mesh solution.
