The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Aurora Barbarians RFC provides no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Aurora Barbarians RFC, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 05:08, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Hello Simon,

Thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia, we hope you will stay around.

I am one of the administrators here. It seems that your article on the Aurora Barbarians was deleted by another admin as patent nonsense. This was done in error as the article was clearly well written. In most cases, I would restore this article. However, if I did this it would almost certainly be re-deleted as the group does not seem to meet our notability requirements. In general, only fully professional athletes and amateur athletes competing at the highest national and international levels will meet our notability guidelines. If this applies to this team the article can be recreated without prejudice so long as it indicated that team does meet the notability standards.

Again, thank you for your contribution, and we hope you will contribute again. Dsmdgold 15:57, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
