[edit] Wikipedia:Wikipedia commentary/Search Engine

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:Wikipedia commentary/Search Engine, by Black Falcon, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Wikipedia:Wikipedia commentary/Search Engine fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

G6 (housekeeping). This is a redirect from a subpage of a Wikipedia page. As a search term, it is highly implausible, and has incoming links only from lists of pages from database dumps. It used to be a page containing content about a search engine, but it became obsolete sometime between 09/2001 and 03/2002. Someone even added the following disclaimer to the page: "The following is some old stuff that probably should be deleted. It doesn't apply to Wikipedia's current search mechanism, which is completely different." If deleting this, please also delete the cross-namespace redirect Wikipedia commentary/Search Engine, whose only valuable page history is a pagemove to *this* page. It is also unused, obsolete, and implausible as a search term.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Wikipedia:Wikipedia commentary/Search Engine, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Wikipedia:Wikipedia commentary/Search Engine itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 05:00, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
