[edit] About typo correction

Hi SimonD. Regarding this edit : While I fully appreciate and understand the importance of your work, try to avoid editing others' comments on discussion pages (like RfA and XfD) and talk pages as it adds no value to the discussion or the encyclopedia and might even be considered bad Wikiquette. Other than that, continue the good work. :) - TwoOars (Rev) 13:32, 16 September 2007 (UTC) That was my bad :) I hit the wrong button, double checked my settings and all talk pages are removed. ThanksSimonD 14:35, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] About Commons versus Commens

Hi, SimonD. Thanks for trying to help, but the Commens Dictionary of Peirce's Terms should not be confused with any Commons dictionary. It's got its own Website and everything, check it out http://www.helsinki.fi/science/commens/dictionary.html The word "commens" itself is Peirce's word for that which he also called the "commind". Basically it's com- + mens or "mind". The Tetrast 15:24, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Ok thanks for letting me know SimonD 15:25, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Canot vs. cannot

You edited the article Seconds From Disaster twice and you replaced the Word "Canot" with "Cannot" using the AutoWikiBrowser. But "Canot" is a part of the name "Big Bayou Canot" and not a negatived verb. --Xls 20:50, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Ok thanks for the information. SimonD 20:51, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Trivial edits

Please don't make edits like this: [1] It doesn't matter where the stub tag is, moving it is not worth making an edit. Nor do I even think it particularly belongs after the categories. Personally I like it better above them. Haukur 21:24, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Same goes for edits that do nothing except reorder interwiki links.[2] Haukur 21:26, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Same goes for edits that do nothing except modify whitespace.[3] Haukur 21:27, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
In general see WP:AWB#Rules_of_use: "Avoid making insignificant or inconsequential edits such as only adding or removing some white space, moving a stub tag, converting some HTML to Unicode, removing underscores from links (unless they are bad links), or something equally trivial. This is because it wastes resources and clogs up watch lists." Haukur 21:29, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hi from The Tetrast

Hi, SimonD. I see now, you're using an automatic Wiki program. It replaced "Commens" with "Commons" again but never mind, I repaired it. Thanks for replacing all the italics html markup with the double-single quotes, and whatever other cleanup you did. The Tetrast 02:09, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hussar article reversion

On the Hussar page an inappropriate addition, in all-caps was made to the history page.

The word hussar (IPA: [hə.ˈzɑː], [hə.ˈsɑɹ]; or [hʊ-]) derives from the Hungarian huszár, which in turn comes from the Serbian husar ("highwayman", or brigand)...NO IT DOES NOT, SEE THE DISCUSSION PAGE...[5]

Reverting your edit took away the all-caps material. If this was some sort of a mistake, please look over your edits with the preview option before submitting.

[edit] AWB revoked

Due to your continued typo fixing on improper pages, I am revoking your access to AWB. --After Midnight 0001 00:41, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

I apologised and took of all talk and wikipedia pages. I even did just typoes. Deal with it. I'm stopping even helping Wikipedia with even vandalism I'll laugh at each one i see and hope someone soon decides to revoke your access. SimonD 14:52, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Can you provide a link to the apology and tell me when you took off the improper pages? If this checks out, I will not object to you reapplying for AWB. --After Midnight 0001 14:45, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Preity Zinta FA

Hi there. The Preity Zinta article has recently achieved A-class status. Due to the wealth of support I have decided to now nominate for an FA class article which I believe and judging by the comments of others is pretty much up to. In my view it is better than some existing FA actor articles. I would therefore be very grateful if you could give it a final review in your own time and leave your comments and views at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Preity Zinta. Thankyou, your comments are always valuable. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 10:57, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

From the Editor

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday.

This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement.

That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page.
