[edit] Boro players

Hi, the Boro page is without Ravanelli, or Branco, or Festa, and you cannot even get a hint that many of those good players were at some point in Boro. Meanwhile there is no objective criteria of who was notable or not, at least under a "former players", these players shall be listed. However obstruction of listing does not seem so constructive to me, and the list of "notable players" there is nothing more than an award thingy, without any respect to others. [edit] Edit summary

Hi, I noticed you are making a lot of edits to Middlesbrough FC related articles, but not stating what your edits are about on the edit summary. Could you please state what your edits are about on the edit summary? Thanks. -- Mattythewhite 10:31, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Ah. Sure thing, I'll start doing that. Simmo676 15:42, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Cheers. -- Mattythewhite 16:01, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Great update on our history simmo. Im a total Boro anorak and have been compiling my own stats for nigh on 20 years now. If you need any help feel free to give me a bell. CheersShaun71 22:42, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicates

Can you substitute on your subpages all svg-images for railwaydiagrams, which are duplicates, with the other one ? that will be nice. You can find them here. The filenames start with "BSicon" and contain the substring "STB" somewhere behind. Thank you. 84.150.215.245 11:43, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Done, as requested. --Simmo676 12:06, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Esk Valley Line

I see you reverted me making the template box on this article fixed width, with good reason. However, the template already has "multi-line problems", which I was trying to fix. Is there a way to sort this out, or must we put up with the gaps in the line? →Ollie (talkcontribs) 22:13, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

I don't see any multi-line problems at any point on the line at the moment. Where abouts do you see gaps? --Simmo676 22:15, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Hmm, I've got plenty. Above Middlesborough, at the Picton-Battersby Line and Rosedale Branch junctions, and at the WRMU Railway junction. A litte experimenting shows that it's my browser (Opera) that's causing the problem - it forces the longer lines to break instead of making the box wider. I might have a little look at resolving the problem without resorting to fixing the width at some point. Cheers anyway, →Ollie (talkcontribs) 22:49, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Esk Valley Line

Thanks for your corrections to my work in the Whitby area on this one. I think I'd lost control of my eyeball movements by the time I transferred it to the article! Britmax 21:30, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Heh, I know how you mean, it can get pretty complex that code. Very good work on the additions though! --Simmo676 22:40, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Boro Editing

Cheers for help with the editing of the Boro history, I'm going back season by season trying to building up specific details of each. I'm also going to make a history of kits when I get round to it. Any other ideas?

--Markh991 14:36, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Im doing exactly the same Mark. Got a great site from a mate who now lives in the US who has the best collection of Boro shirts bar none. If you need any help let me know Shaun71 22:44, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Boro Squad Numbers

Hi, seeing as you are a Middlesbrough fan, you might be able to help me with some of the past squad numbers for players in this article History of Middlesbrough F.C., I've got the most recent ones, but not any of the obscure ones, your help will be most appreciated NapHit 20:11, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] James Milner Career section

Not really asking for full feedback on this article (although I wouldn’t mind it). I’d just like to know what you feel the best way the divide up the Career section is, by Club, by season, not at all or some other way. Please leave your reply under the section in my talk page named “Milner Career section”. Buc 16:46, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mido

You selectively choose to mention the alleged racist chants at mido from Newcastle fans but neglect to mention previous allegations of it by West ham and Southampton fans. You also choose to neglect mentioning that neither Middlesbrough FC or the FA chose not to take any action over this matter.

There is no need need for these inflammatory allegations to be posted on a Wiki. These types of comments belong on football forums.

As for the Guardian article , a Newcastle fanzine has complained to the press commission about the author of the article as it was written with ulterior motives by a Sunderland fan.

http://www.true-faith.co.uk/html/Features/misunderstood.htm

If you want to edit the post and mention all the facts about the allegations, thats fine, but if you leave it as an attack on ALL newcastle fans as it currently is, then we have a problem. (Perhaps you have an agenda against Newcastle fans too!)

Like I say have reported the post to Wiki to let them decide wether or not it should be left in, after that we will decide the state of play and decide which course of action we will take. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bert Shaft (talkcontribs) 11:44, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] YOur recent edit

Nice edit, I am satisfied with that.

Lets hope that in the interests of Middlesbrough and Newcastle fans, people leave it that way. (I still think that it uneccessary on a Wiki though) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bert Shaft (talkcontribs) 12:07, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] St. Willibrord's Day

Salutations, Simmo676! Here's wishing you the jolliest St. Willibrord's Day possible! Love, Yeanold Viskersenn 14:10, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Joh Marshall

Hallo, I've removed him from the dab page because redlinked entries are only allowed if they have links from elsewhere. If you mention him in another article with a redlink for him, then by all means put him back on the dab page. PamD (talk) 18:02, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Middlesbrough FC Records

I think this is pretty much ready to go live. Ive been away from Wikipedia for ages, surprised nobody finished it up but I've added any missing data and now it should be OK to add. Not sure where you want to add it, or on a seperate page, so I'll leave that to you or Mofs as you both seem to be doing good work on the article. Cunners (talk) 14:37, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Jonathan Grounds

See my note on Jonathon Grounds' talk page. Why have you moved it to Jonathon from Jonathan despite several sources having his spelling as Jonathan? Peanut4 (talk) 22:56, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Philip Bach

Hi - I see you edit articles relating to Middlesbrough FC. I have created an article on Philip Bach, who was Boro's chairman. Can you add anything from your reference books? Cheers. --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 08:57, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
