I'm Simon Williams. I start and build software companies, two of which (so far), including Synon, have been successful. Most of my career has been devoted to creating development tools which aim to improve the application development process through better use of abstraction.
If you’re an IBM AS/400 developer who’s used Synon/2E, Obsydian, AllFusion 2E or AllFusion Plex, they were mine - comments welcome.
Recently, I’ve written a book called ‘The Associative Model of Data’ which states the case for, defines and discusses an entirely new database architecture by the same name. If you’re interested, you can download it here. For a quick look at its contents, click here. My company Lazysoft has developed Sentences, an associative DBMS.
I’m British, born Feb 1950, living near London.
