According to History of the Re-established Sanhedrin, Shimon ben Shetach served not as Nasi but as Av Beis Din, alongside Yehudah ben Tavai, who served as Nasi. Anomalocaris 00:11, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- Shimon was Av Beit Din, but under Joshua ben Perachya; when Joshua died Shimon became nasi. Briangotts (Talk) (Contrib) 17:51, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
