Simufarm, or Suf for short, is a freeware farming simulation with realistic 3d graphics and lifelike physics, supporting the ability to make and add mods and addons.

Simufarm uses the Ogre 3d rendering engine for photorealistic scenes. The engine has support for Vertex shaders and Pixel shaders, and post processing / HDR effects such as Bloom and motion blur.

Real time physics in Simufarm are provided by the PhysX api, formerly known as Ageia Physx but now owned by Nvidia. The engine has support for Hard and Soft bodys, Vehicles, ragdols, liquid and cloths. Simufarm also supports hardware accelaration via the PhysX PPU, which can now be found built into some Nvidia 8000 series graphics chipsets.

Currently, Simufarm is under development, with the only versions available being BETA / pre-release versions. So far, Simufarm features High detail Tractors and Trailers, a detailed and varied terrain, and the ability to add your own tractors, trailers and terrains. However, version 0.5 is currently in development, which will bring several graphics and gameplay inhancements such as continious day/night cycle, and the ability to plant and harvest crops, as well as cultivate land.
