Simply the Best is the name of Tina Turner's 1991 "best of" compilation album of her most popular hits since her comeback in the early 1980s. It also included three new songs "Love Thing", "I Want You Near Me", "The Way Of The World" as well as a re-recorded dance version of "Nutbush City Limits", all of which were also issued as singles in 1991 and 1992. The album is Turner's biggest seller in the UK, and the 58th biggest selling album of all time in the UK[1]. Simply The Best was in the UK album chart for 383 weeks. The album sold 10 million copies worldwide[2].
The compilation was released with different track listings in the U.S. and the rest of the world. On the U.S. edition the tracks "Addicted To Love" (Live) and "Be Tender With Me Baby" were replaced by "What You Get Is What You See" and "Look Me in the Heart".
