Simoniz
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Simoniz is a trademark for a brand of car wax that originated with Union Carbide in 1935. It was popular with automobile dealers where it was used for a auto detailing process called Simonizing or Simonized.
The trademark went though some amount of trademark dilution due to its use by a number of automobile dealers for processes using other brands of car wax, car polish, or paint sealer.
The current holders of the Simoniz trademark use it to sell Liquid Diamond, a home-use spray-on car polish.
