Simon Srebnik

Simon Srebnik was one of two people to survive the Nazi death camp of Chelmno. He survived along with Mordechaï Podchlebnik. He was forced to burn bodies, and grind bones. Furthermore he was shot before the Allies came to the camp, but survived. He was thirteen at the time and later returned to the Catholic church where he was forced to work. He was interviewed by French film maker Claude Lanzmann for the film Shoah.
According to British holocaust researcher Alan Heath Simon Srebnik died in 2005 at age 75.
