Simon Scott

Simon Scott (born 3 March 1972 in Cambridge) is an English drummer. He is mostly known for being the drummer in the shoegazing band Slowdive and the sole member of Televise. Before joining Slowdive he was the drummer in the band The Charlottes but after playing a gig in Reading in 1990 he was approached by Slowdive to join. After leaving Slowdive he has recorded and toured with a number of bands as a session drummer, including English bands Lowgold, Inner Sleeve, Dweeb and Chapterhouse. In 2007 Simon formed a new band Seavault with Antony Ryan from Isan (band) and signed to Morr Music.
