Simon McAleer Memorial Tournament is an annual event held mainly in Pearse Park, Galbally, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The main participants are local schools in the surrounding area of County Tyrone. Simon McAleer was a native of Galbally and had a strong love for Gaelic football and sports in general. He was at the time of his death president of Galbally Pearses Club. The memorial cup and tournament was set up after his death as a fitting way to keep his memory alive.
