Simon Mason (born Sheffield, England, 1962) is an English author of juvenile and adult fiction.
Mason's best-known adult book, The Great English Nude, was nominated for several prizes, but narrowly missed out. His best-known children's work is "The Quigleys" series about a spirited and lovable family.
Mason now lives in Oxford with his wife Eluned Harries and children Gwil and Eleri and is currently writing The Rough Guide to Classic Novels.
It is unfortunate that the children both turned out to be little rascals........
After completing the Rough Guide, Mason is expected to continue with his long term book, The High Priestess Of Love at 40.
