[edit] Sporting Endeavours
Simon is also an avid basketballer, who played high level amateur basketball while living in Switzerland. He is unfortunately well known amongst his Economics Department colleagues for missing the winning shot in the exhibition match against the Honours Hot Shots. An infamous choker, this is not the first time that Simon has let down a sporting team in crucial moments with former colleagues and friends noting "I've lost count the amount of pressure shots (Simon) has missed."[citation needed]
