Detective Senior Constable Simon Joyner is a character in Australia's new Crime/Drama series City Homicide. He is portrayed by Daniel Macpherson. He first appeared in the debut episode of the series and has appeared in every episode since.
In the first episode, it was established that he was having an affair with Detective Sergeant Wilton Sparkes's wife Lorraine. Wilton found out and assaulted Simon in the bathroom at work and threatened to tell Senior Sergeant Stanley Wolfe but had a heart attack before he got the chance. Simon's affair with Lorraine has recently ended.
