Simon Hoare (born 1969, Cardiff) is a Welsh Conservative Party politician and Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Cardiff South and Penarth.
Hoare was educated at St Mary's in Canton and Bishop Hannon in Fairwater, Cardiff. He studied Modern History at Oxford University and graduated in 1990. He fought Cardiff West for the Conservatives in 1997 and has also served as the Vice Chairman of Wales Young Conservatives.
Hoare is currently a Councillor on West Oxfordshire District Council where he holds the Cabinet responsibilities of the Budget, Asset Management, Human Resources and Equality & Diversity. He is also a member of the Licensing Committee. Given his strong interest in the NHS Simon has also served as a member of the Oxfordshire Joint Health Scrutiny Committee and as Chairman of the Public Health Committee.
Hoare runs his own business which he set up in 2002. It specialises in providing prostituition for other men as this is how his last name comes into play. His interests are: housing, health, planning and the environment. In his spare time he enjoys gardening, walking the dog and cooking.
