Simon Blanckley

Simon Blanckley is a British racing driver from Durham, currently racing in the British Touring Car Championship [1]. He began racing in 2002, having been a racing fan for a long time [2]

2007 has been his debut BTCC season, having sold his house to fund the move [3]. He is racing an ex Team Halfords Honda Integra under the banner of Sibsport, working with former Independent Champion team owner Graham Hathaway [4]. They scored a point at Rockingham [5]. At Oulton Park he missed race 3 due to accident damage sustained during race 2 [6]At Donington he had pace but no results [7]. Before round 8 the team pulled out, due to Blanckley's work commitments.
