Similkameen

Similkameen is the name of a river in the Canadian province of British Columbia which has several possible local meanings:
- the Similkameen River
- the Similkameen people, known also as the Similkameens, a branch of the Salishan-speaking Okanagan people and subdivided into two band governments, the Lower Similkameen and Upper Similkameen.
- the Similkameen Country or Similkameen District, or just "the Similkameen", one of BC's historical georegions and important in the province's mining and transportation history, roughly synonymous with the basin of the Similkameen River. The smaller Tulameen Country, named after the river of the same name, is included within the Similkameen Country.
- Similkameen, a defunct provincial electoral district
- Boundary-Similkameen, a defunct provincial electoral district
- Okanagan-Similkameen Regional District, a regional district in British Columbia
- Okanagan—Similkameen, a defunct federal electoral district
- Okanagan—Similkameen—Merritt, a defunct Canadian federal electoral district
