Could the fair use argument for using this image in Doctor Who spoofs also be applied to the spoofs section of the main Doctor Who article? —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 18:15, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

It could be, although, as you imply, it's a weaker case because you could potentially illustrate spoofs generally with another image. However, any image is almost certainly going to be of a spoof in action, as it were, and therefore a vinyl sleeve or a TV screenshot - i.e., something requiring fair use justification. Given that, I don't think there's a case for not choosing this image over another one. —Whouk (talk) 18:34, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Would adding it to Fourth Doctor (in the spoofs section I just created) be pushing it too far? —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 20:55, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

No more so than the main Doctor Who article - probably less so as it's a more restricted area. However, it might be worth trying to get a picture of Culshaw instead for variety's sake... —Whouk (talk) 22:02, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
Since I'm too image-inept to find & upload a Culshaw pic, I've put this image on the Fourth Doctor page. If someone else wants to replace it with a suitable Culshaw image, they can — although, of course, the best part of Culshaw's impersonation (the voice) wouldn't be reflected in an image. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 17:05, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
