[edit] Fair Use in Simon Raven
Though the image is subject to copyright its use is within Wikipedia's non free content policies because:-
- It is a highly stylised depiction of a lifestyle featuring in much of Simon Raven's work
- It is reflective of Raven's own lifestyle and provides a good visual introduction to the kind of writer and individual he was, which is the main subject of the article
- It adds significantly to the article because of this relation to the content
- It is not used in a way that suggests that the article is written by or on behalf of the owner of the image
- It is not replaceable by a comparable uncopyrighted image
