[edit] Assistance
{{helpme}}Okay,I have edited 'The Big Snooze' a few times, and I just saw that there was a tag inserted on the page, after my last edit, which stated the page needed to be edited to meet wikipedia standards. Does that mean I am in trouble, for my latest edit?
- Hello Silvershrek! No, tags just mean that perhaps the article did not conform to the manual of style, and that it may require cleanup to be in line with Wikipedia standards. I'd suggest that you utilize the "preview" button before saving, to help you not need to continue to re-edit to fix mistakes, or alternately, you can work on items in your userspace, creating a page like User:Silvershrek/sandbox to practice in, and once things look right, then you can put them into articles. It looks like you're having some trouble with how things appear, so here are some links to help you: Manual of style, Layout guide, Article development, How to edit, First article, and Cite your sources. The plot section of that page is extremely long, and one giant paragraph. It will need to be cleaned up for spelling, grammar, and split into paragraphs that are separate to make it conform to how articles should look, and the plot section may be overly long. Also, the {{fact}} tags are there to make sure people know to cite their statements with reliable, third-party sources, so think of that as a sort of reminder. Hope that helps! (And the {{helpme}} goes here on your talk page, so I've moved it so that you get the notice it was answered.) Cheers, Ariel♥Gold 11:50, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
{{helpme}} Could someone delete any and all edits I made,on the big snooze? Please? I messed up,and it only made things worse!
- I undid the last few you did, but since there have been other people editing in between your edits, it really isn't possible to just remove all of your edits. What is the problem? - Rjd0060 00:44, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Huh?
I'm sorry. I thought your edit was sneaky vandalism (See Wikipedia:Vandalism#Types_of_vandalism for a definition); and the edit didn't have a clear edit summary of what changes were made. Haseo9999 (talk) 02:01, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
~~Silvershrek~~ This one goes out to Baseball Bugs,so I hope you find your way here...as I'm confused by something. Why'd you wait so long to 'step in when you thought I was getting carried away',with the edits on 'The Big Snooze?'
