[edit] Jim Holloway article
The Jim Holloway looks much better now, thanks for working on it. I have removed the pov cleanup tag --AbsolutDan (talk) 01:06, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] O. G. Jones
Like your additions here, though they do tend to make it a bit of a biography rather than an encyclopaedia in tone. Are some available as links out, perhaps? Bob aka User_talk:Linuxlad
Good point. Try the revised article on for size. Silentrunner 02:56, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Like it - thanks. Have commented on your suggestion to add photo, but suspect that copyright position is similar to the Napes Needle picture, which got pulled. Bob aka Linuxlad 11:56, 12 July 2006 (UTC) PS have done first stubs for Climbers' Club and FRCC - perhaps you can link in any references you see, if you do the rounds on the stubs of climbers of years gone by.

- Thanks for your additions to FRCC - just a comment, for copyright reasons either quote short attributed sections, or precis the facts in your own words. Bob aka Linuxlad 08:15, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Use of American
I noticed that you created a number of articles recently related to mountain climbers from the United States. The link [[American]] is to a disambigation page that contains a number of uses for the word American. In the future, if you could use [[United States|American]] that'd be great. --Bobblehead 18:07, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Pole&MastClimbing.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Pole&MastClimbing.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:08, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
