[edit] License tagging for Image:FWParkSec.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:FWParkSec.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Notability
Hi there,
in answer to your question, what happened to the page Grydziuszko was that a user viewed it's contents as not notable to include in wikipedia, as for an article to belong in the encyclopedia, it has to be on a notable enough. What happened was that the user placed a template at the top of the article by writing {{notable}} - this alerts other users to the fact that this article, in it's current format, may not be notable enough to include in wikipedia.
Now, you may well disagree with this point of view, but you shouldn't just remove the template - you need to prove that the subject is notable to deserve an article - either by adding references to external sites or books or just by discussing it on the talk page of the article.
However, when you blanked the page, and because you were the only editor of content, you made the article eligible for speedy deletion (see WP:CSD - the article was classed as a G7), which is why it is no longer there. If you think that the article's subject is notable enough, and you can cite the sources of any information you put up - then feel free to recreate the article. If someone adds a gray template, like the one before, the article has seven days to get inline with whatever policy it is that the notice mentions. If someone adds a pink one (speedy deletion), the you have to put {{hangon}} under the template if you wish to contest it, and then explain why on the talk page.
I hope that cleare up some of the deletion policy to you - or at least the bit that you asked me about. Don't get disheartened - every constructive contribution to wikipedia is appreciated, and it is good that you asked what happened, it's the only way we learn.
Any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. ...adam... (talk • contributions) 11:47, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
PS Don't forget to sign all your posts by putting "~~~~" at the end. This puts your username and the time and date - like mine above - and it makes it so much easier for people to see who said what and when.

Thank you for creating this interesting article. If it was referenced (see applicable how to and polices at WP:CITE and WP:V), it could be considered for exposure on the front page of our project. - I'd suggest scanning and uploading files uniquely in your possession to Wikimedia Commons. For everything else, read WP:CITE, or ask help at WP:RD. Be careful not to violate WP:OR. Good luck, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 13:03, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] rm cat
Hi Silent99. "rm cat" is short for "remove category". I removed Category:Medal of Honor recipients from the bottom of the article because there was nothing in the text which said he was a Medal of Honor recipient. The Medal of Honor is a U.S. award, I'm guessing you were thinking of some other award. Good job on the article, by the way, it's very nice. jwillbur 03:22, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
