[edit] Origin of name 'Waterloo station'

Hello Silas.

I've responded to you comments on my removal of some of your text on this on Talk:Waterloo station and Talk:London and South Western Railway, where you originally commented. You might like read and respond there. My apologies if this removal upset you, I admit I could have worded the change comment better. Regards. -- Chris j wood 10:46, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spelling on my user page

I have had a look and corrected a few mistakes. However, the other "mistakes" are all either because of the Wikipedia formatting codes, or because Google ABC doesn't recognise the names of bus types or bus companies, which I mostly edit on!

Thank you -- Arriva436 (talk) 09:45, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Primrose Hill

My apologies, I mis-interpreted what was written:

When the sweep of the North London Line through Hampstead Heath is closed, NLL services from the east may take the Primrose Hill line to Willesden Junction (Low Level).

I took this to mean that the Hampstead Heath route is due to be closed, not what I now see what was meant: that it is a diversionary route.  — MapsMan talk | cont ] — 18:55, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Language categorization

I understand your point that it seems weird to delete the "Afro-Asiatic" category from those articles. However, there were about 200 language articles that started more or less with "X is an Afro-Asiatic language." They can all be classified under different family groupings. For that reason, I think it is not helpful to have more than the larger subdivisions of the Afro-Asiatic family categorized as "Afro-Asiatic" -- can't find anything when the label is applied to everything. [edit] Capitals

Thanks for commenting, I will keep this in mind; I must somehow have forgotten that capital letters were used when writing the name of a language, i.e Danish, Finnish. It is not used when writing about a group of people, right? E.g. The english and the french. When else is the first letter not capitalized? This can be quite confusing, you see; seeing as that the Germans capitalize all nouns, whereas in my native language, Norwegian, only names (for countries, towns, persons etc.) are capitalized. In your language, however, names and some instances of adjectives or nouns that describe nationality are for some reason capitalized. Somehow I don't find myself as ignorant about this topic as you seemed to believe; your comment was slightly harsh, don't you think? --Alexlykke (talk) 00:23, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
