found @ http://etext.library.adelaide.edu.au/m/merritt/abraham/ Abraham Merritt (1884-1943) American editor and author of works of fantastic fiction of some interest. Merrit also had a passion for exotic plants, writing numerous articles on botany. Also discoverer, with S. Weir Mitchell, of psychedelic drugs.

It is not clear whether "Weir" is part of the surname or a second first name. Both parents Surname was Mitchell apparently but on the other hand Weir can hardly be called à first name. This needs disambiguation. Archibald Tuttle (talk) 10:40, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
