Silviu Florea

Silviu Florea (born Bucharest, 19 July 1977) is a Romanian rugby union footballer. He plays as a prop.

He played for RC Cannes-Mandelieu, before returning to Romania, were he played for Steaua Bucharest, from 2003 to 2006, winning the title of National Champion. He then moved back to France, to play for Racing Métro 92, until 2006, when he joined AS Béziers.

He had his first match for Romania, at 18 November 2000, with Italy. He went to play at the 2003 Rugby World Cup finals, three times, and at the 2007 Rugby World Cup finals.

Florea had 19 caps for the "Oaks" side by the end of the competition.
