Silvio Pollio

Silvio Pollio is an Italian-Canadian writer/producer/director from Vancouver, B.C.

He's been involved in the Vancouver/Hollywood scene since 21 Jump Street where he started out as an actor. You may have seen him in Alive (1993 film), The Outer Limits, Viper (TV series), and The Lone Gunmen, and Sliders. Silvio got into Writing/Producing/Directing in 1994, after film school. He sold his first screenplay in 1996 and has gone on to write 14 since.

He wrote, produced and directed his first full length feature How It All Went Down which won Best Picture and Best Director at the Queens New York International Film Festival. Most recently, he has completed his second feature, Shut Up And Shoot Starring Tom Sizemore, Joe Cortese, Gary Busey, John Savage, James Russo, Roddy Piper and Kim Estrada.
