Silvio Meira

Silvio Romero de Lemos Meira is the chief scientist of Recife Center for Advanced Studies and Systems. He is also a lecturer of Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and a Software Evangelist. Born in city of Taperoá, state of Paraíba, Meira holds a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, and a M.Sc and PHD degrees in Computer science. Besides, he has musical abilities, more specifically, he is a great maracatu percussionist.
