The Silvery Grebe (Podiceps occipitalis) is a species of grebe in the Podicipedidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Falkland Islands, Paraguay, Peru, and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands. Its natural habitat is freshwater lakes.
