Silvertown station is a closed railway station in Silvertown, east London, formerly the penultimate station at the east end of the North London Line. Also known as Silvertown and London City Airport, it was between Custom House and North Woolwich stations, in Travelcard Zone 3.

It opened 19 June 1863 on the Eastern Counties and Thames Junction Railway, with two tracks and platforms. As use of the line declined, it was reduced in 1980 to just one track and platform, serving trains in both directions. The platform was on the opposite side to the one at North Woolwich, which was also reduced to one platform. Following electrification of the line a few years later train services were very much increased and the single track section became a bottleneck.

Following opening of London City airport nearby there was an attempt to offer the station for connections to the airport but the walk through adjacent side streets, and the service being relatively infrequent and peripheral rather than into central London, led to little air passenger traffic.

The station closed on 9 December 2006[1] as part of the closure of the Stratford to North Woolwich section of the line. The Docklands Light Railway extension to King George V replicates much of this section of line, the nearest station on which is London City Airport.

The station may eventually be replaced as part of the planned Crossrail scheme.
