Silverstrand Beach

Silverstrand Beach (銀線灣), located in Clear Water Bay Peninsula, is one of the famous beaches in Sai Kung, Hong Kong. Managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, a wide range of facilities are available, including carparking facilities, refreshment kiosks, barbecue pits, changing rooms, shower facilities and life guard and first aid services.

  • Take the KMB route No.91M from Diamond Hill MTR station or Hang Hau to Shui Bin Tseun;
  • Take the KMB route No.91 from Diamond Hill MTR station to Hang Hau Road;
  • Take the KMB route No.91 from Choi Hung MTR station to Hang Hau Road;
  • Take the green mini-bus route No.103 at Kwun Tong Ferry Pier to Hang Hau Road;
  • Take the green mini-bus route No.103M at Tseung Kwan O MTR Station to Hang Hau Road.
  • Take the green mini-bus route No.16 in Po Lam Public Transport Interchange (Metro City Phrase 2) to Hang Hau Road.

Announced by the Environmental Protection Department on May 25, 2007 Silverstrand Beach was upgraded from Grade 2 (Fair) to one of the Grade 1 (Good) beaches in Hong Kong.
