Silver hydroxide
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Silver hydroxide is the chemical compound with the formula AgOH. It is an unstable species that appears to exist only at low concentrations in solution. It tends instead to convert to silver oxide:[1]
- Ag2O + H2O → 2 Ag+ + 2 OH- logK = --7.71
Copper(I) hydroxide is also similarly unstable with respect to copper(I) oxide.
