Silver Knight (銀漢 Ginkan?) is a fictional character from the .hack franchise that encompasses several video games, anime and manga. He is a Blademaster and one of the main characters of the .hack//Sign anime series.
His avatar is an edited version of the standard Crimson Knight design, with full chest and back plates added to his armor, horns added to his helmet, and red eyes instead of blue.

Second-in-command of the Crimson Knights. He possesses a strong sense of justice (becoming overzealous at times), but is also extremely naïve, leading him to end up as more of a tool to be used by whoever is in control. He is extremely overprotective of Subaru, more so than anyone else.
[edit] .hack//Games
Silver Knight only appears in various memory fragments scattered across The World. He is also mentioned in several quotes by the AI Subaru, when she is in Kite's party.

[edit] .hack//Legend of the Twilight
Silver Knight also appears in the non-canon .hack//Legend of the Twilight anime in an episode where he helps Shugo several times. Here he had left The World for some time, but returned much in the manner of Crim, no longer serious and foreboding, but friendly and spritely. After helping Shugo escape Cobalt Knights, he is captured and Kamui deletes his player data.
[edit] .hack//Roots
Silver Knight also makes a third appearance in a .hack//Roots episode where he offers Haseo his assistance after stating that he has been in a similar situation. Haseo refuses his help.
[edit] Offline
Late in the series, he tells Mimiru that he is 23 and works in a video store.
