The Silver-backed Tanager (Tangara viridicollis) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and heavily degraded former forest.
