Silva Tagliagamba

Silva Tagliagamba (d. June 1922) was an early New York mobster and a member of the Morello crime family.

Tagliagamba served as a bodyguard for Umberto Valenti during in the 1920s. He and Valanti were later involved in an ambush (although accounts differ from who set up the ambush) with rival Giuseppe "Joe the Boss" Masseria outside the Liquor Exchange in downtown Manhattan on May 8, 1922. During a shootout with Masseria, Tagliagamba was severely wounded as he escaped with Valanti.

In June 1922, Tagliagamba died from his wounds.
