Silpelit might be:
- A figure from Eduard Friedrich Mörike's opera "Eduard auf dem Seil", also mentioned in the poem "Elfenlied" wherein an elf believes to be called by it
- A specific type of the fictional mutant, human-evolved species of the Japanese anime and manga Elfen Lied. The Silpelit is the offspring of Homo Sapiens which had their genes mutated by interaction from a Dicloniis vectors or from exposure of the "vector-virus"
