Silicon Institute of Technology

Silicon Institute of Technology (commonly known as SIT) is an engineering and technology institute established in 2000-01. Silicon is situated near Info city in Bhubaneswar. The campus is on a beautiful, landscaped and lush green stretch of land at the footsteps of Silicon Hills. The atmosphere is conducive to a calm and peaceful academic pursuit.

It is well connected to the major city centres by open and wide roads, the Institute campus is about 12 Km. away from the Bhubaneswar Railway Station, 17 Km from the Airport.

Affiliation: The Institute is affiliated to Utkal University (UU) and affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) with effect from 2003.

The admission to various courses is done on the basis of rank secured in the Orissa Joint Entrance Examination for engg./medical. Also some seats are alloted on the basis of rank obtained in AIEEE conducted by CBSE.

Programming Club The Department has taken initiation to start a programming club with the following objectives.
