[edit] Band members

Emerging from the Belfast punk scene , The Setz changed musical direction in 1982 and re-named themselves Silent Running.

Richard Collett (Bass), Peter Gamble (Vocals), Tony Scott (Guitars) Ian Gault (Drums) and Alex White (Keyboards). White left in 1985 resulting in the band relying on session players such as Adrian Lee , Clive Gates and Ian Curnow to record the next 2 albums. Gault departed the band midway through the recording of the third and last album "DEEP" in 1988 and was replaced by Gary Kirby. Paul Rocks joined the band at this time on keyboards. The band toured extensively in Ireland after the album's release but called it a day not long after.[1].
