Silence Records

Silence (Silence Records AB), is a Swedish record company located outside Koppom, Värmland.

Silence was started 1970 in Stockholm and published records with, amongst others; Philemon Arthur and the Dung, Samla Mammas Manna and other progg (progressive) bands. 1977 Silence moved to Värmland to rebuild an old school into a studio. In this, the current, studio bands like Ebba Grön, Dag Vag, Hellacopters, Eldkvarn & Kent have recorded several albums. Some notable artists currently signed by Silence are bob hund, Bergman Rock, Sci-Fi SKANE & Fint Tillsammans.

Silence is also one of the larger record labels included in the Svenska oberoende musikproducenter. (translated: Swedish independent musicproducers)
