Urn measuring 10-1/8" high and 7-3/4" at the widest diameter. Silla dynasty urn used to hold food or grain from ancient times. It is vase-shaped with five rectangular openings along the high base with unusual decorative detail but common in early Korean work. Near the neck are concentric rings adding character to the piece and a flaring neck. Silla 8th/10th century.
