Talk:Sikh scriptures
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It has been suggested that this article be merged with SGGS. This cannot be done as the Sikhs have more than just the SGGS as their scriptures. Although the SGGS is the main one and the perpetual Guru, the other like the Dasam Granth, Bhai Gurdas Varan, Kabits, etc. various Huknanmanas of the Gurus are also covered here. I have removed this tag from the article. This article needs to be expanded. --Hari Singh 00:36, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Is it true that SGGS is the only scripture fully compiled during its author's lifetime? I don't know of a counterexample. Ironically, many non-Mormons would consider the Book of Mormon to qualify, but Mormons themselves claim that it is a translation of ancient texts. 76.226.65.41 16:28, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
