Talk:Sikh beliefs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sentences such as the opening "It is the duty of every Sikh to practise Naam Simran daily and engage in Sewa whenever there is a possibility- in Gurdwara; in community centre; old people's homes; care centres; major world disasters, etc...." contains three unexplained and inexplicable terms to an outsider: Naam Simraam, Sewa and Gurdwara. It is therefore impossible to understand the sentence, unless I leave the article and look for some other explanation elesewhere, and I for one will not continue to read the rest of the article. When unusual and specific terms are used in an article, a short definition should ALWAYS accompany their first instance. Hyperlinking alone is not enough. Richard 07:38, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
