Cervus n. dybowskii is synonymous with C. n. hortulorum (Whitehead, 1972).

The pictures in this article are of AXIS deer, not Sika. Someone should change this. It's very misleading. Sika are Chocolate brown with a white tail (not spotted).
Actually, they are sometimes spotted, but those pictures are definitely axis deer not sika deer.
I replaced the first picture with a picture of a (spotted) sika deer.
