Sijbekarspel

The statistical district (light green) of Sijbekarspel in the municipality of Noorder-Koggenland.

Sijbekarspel (52°42′N, 5°0′E) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Noorder-Koggenland, and lies about 7 km northwest of Hoorn.

Sijbekarspel was a separate municipality until 1979, when the new municipality of Noorder-Koggenland was created.[1]

Sijbekarsel consists of one long road, with a ribbon of buildings around it. On the east, it is connected to Benningbroek. Sijbekarspel has a population of around 320.[2]
