The Signaturex entry is a factual account and definition of the artist and his Pen-name/online-identity 'signaturex'. There are dated documents that may be authenticated as well as newspaper articles and several thousand Pieces of Fine art that are authored by signaturex. The fact that the Name is a Clever way to demonstrate the principle of simulacrum[1] also gives the author artistic license to proclaim signaturex as an Identity within a virtual interface.

BELOW:This is an AMERICAN flag studey painting created by signaturex in 2003. It measures 7 by five feet and is construncted from wood, canvas, and oil paint. There are 50 small swasticka like shapes that are visable when studying the relief of the artwork at very close range. When first viewing the shapes they are percieved as swastickas but upon close examination the viewer can discern that the shapes actually have one leg turned back. The true origin of the shape is a television screen born image that appears when the artists Nintendo brand video game malfunctions.
