Signs of the Times (SOTT), established in 2002, is an alternative news Internet website which aggregates news stories from a wide range of international sources, as well as providing news analysis and editorial commentary. The editors' stated objective is to provide international coverage of current events from many points of view so as to achieve an objective view of global events.
There have been criticisms that SOTT focuses mainly on "bad news". However the website's Quick Guide states the following:
We think that before we can engage in a truly creative act, we have to learn how to see the world as it really is, not as we wish it to be.
SOTT produced the controversial Pentagon Strike Flash Video.
