Sigma Phi Omicron Fraternity (also known as "Sigo" or ΣΦO), is a local all-male college social fraternity founded in 1964 on the campus of University of Massachusetts - Lowell (formerly known as Lowell Technological Institute). The fraternity was founded as the idea of 7 individuals who came together as one group to further their ideas of Brotherhood based on the belief that each person's differences should be accepted.
Sigma Phi Omicron has maintained its local roots in the city of Lowell and its alumni can be found all over the country performing various jobs in engineering, political office, military, education, and many other professions.

- Intramural Football
- While not generally regarded as a "Jock" house in its early years, the Fraternity has had a long and proud tradition of fielding competitive teams for the yearly Intramural Football competition.
