[edit] History

SigmaQuest was co-founded by Nader Fathi and Al Alaverdi in late 2001 after a successful engagement at Sun Microsystems and Solectron (now part of Flextronics). SigmaQuest is named for its focus on disparate data aggregation ("Sigma" refers to summation) and analysis.

SigmaQuest has since expanded to cover a product's entire lifecycle, offering on-demand software covering ERP , MES , CRM , Supplier Quality , RMA , and Warranty Management. Its SigmaSure Insight line of products is in use by many companies, including Motorola, Panasonic, Honeywell, Cisco Systems, and Plantronics - among others.

According to its website, SigmaQuest "provides an on-demand suite of solutions that help companies build better products using business intelligence techniques for product design, manufacturing, supplier quality, repair and returns. Benefits are reduced warranty costs; improved product quality, lower costs of goods sold, and increased revenue and profits."

Fathi and Alaverdi continue to head SigmaQuest's operations.

SigmaQuest's corporate headquarters are located in Sunnyvale, CA.
